Contreras and other's struggling with poor starts

A lot of angst in here about Willy Contreras and his poor starts, here's some other known players off to poor starts too:

W. Contreras: .071 .103 .107 .210 (STL)
W. Contreras: .074 .242 .074 .316 (MILW It's a family affair)
C. Correa: .080 .115 .120 .235
C. Yelich: .083 .267 .208 .475
M. Muncy: .115 .115 .269 .384
Y. Alveraz:.125 .241 .167 .408
L. Arraez: .129 .152 .226 .378 (Batting champ)
M. Semien: .133 .188 .133 .321
F. Lindor: .136 .231 .182 .413
L. Thomas: .154 .185 .192 .377
R. Hoskins: .158 .360 .158 .518
L. Robert: .160 .214 .200 .414
B. Reynolds: .194 .237 .306 .543

In total 51 qualified MLB hitters w/below .199 BA's.

Way, way too early to make silly claims about an established ML hitter after 30 PA's when he has a career .809 OPS over 3,742 PA's.

Younger Contrera's has split time equally batting in 3 & 4 hole. Seems to depend on if Yelich is playing. Contrera's the younger, does not yet have an RBI this year. Despite that Blowers have won 4 in a row.

Wonder if William also bulked up this off season. It is weird they're both struggling so similar. If I'd have thrown siamesily similar in there would have had some alliteration going on.

I was just about to post that both Contreras brothers are combined 4-55 with 0 HR and 3 RBI (All 3 are from Willson).

Did they have the same training routine in the winter?

I agree, and would also add that many of the players on this list have not had consistent careers.
Alveraz and Arraez are probably the most "surprising", but something tells me they will come out of their approx. 10 game slumps.

The great IL champion Luis Robert is off to a bad start also .154 with 1 RBI

I guess you're subscribing to the "misery loves company" adage. I really don't care what other players are doing, I just know that Willy, half the time, doesn't even make contact. I see he did get a ringing infield hit against the pirates to go 1-6 and raise his average. The guy shouldn't be playing EVERY DAY and definitely shouldn't be batting in the 2 hole. How long is long enough when the guy is hitting less than .100 and striking out almost 50% of the time?
