I wasn't rude about it, I was factual.

I could have been rude. If I had posted this thread, you would have been rude for example, because that's who you are.

But you're right it was me who didn't see 17-2-2 coming, all you boychatters did though. That's a legit thing to personalize on me.

I know why you do it, I read this brilliant thing last week and it captured you and others here perfectly.
At any given moment I would say that at least 60 percent of all digital communication is centralized around the admonishing, humiliation, or dirty laundry–airing of someone deemed to not be worthy of boys chat privileges.
A 60+ year old man, the king of boychat, it's so pitiful. You told me once there would be consequences for violating your boychat ideals, are these them Mr. Consequences-Who-Can't-Count?

My god.

I was joking here.

I don't know what boy chat is but I do think you have some serious insecurity issues dude.

If I remember correctly, the " consequence" comment that bothers you so much was in context of your arrogance, as shown here again.

My apologies for the offense taken, but not given.

Everybody wants scorers up and down the lineup, but the fact is that there are always guys in a winning team that contribute in areas that aren't necessarily related to the scoresheet.
It kind of looks like they hit a wall. If they can push through it before playoffs start all the better.

Your second point, I like to point to a quote Gordon says all the time: To be successful in the playoffs, your scorers have to check, and your checkers have to score
I agree completely.

I just realized my typo. WHO has been missing the past two games. Answer: Mathieu Joseph.

Plays heavy, plays fast, and is a burr under the saddle. I've been impressed with him during this run and hope he's back in the lineup on Saturday vs. the Avs. I've never heard an official reason for his being sat, but I'm assuming it's rest / maintenance and giving some of these young bucks some ice.
Typically no one (other than Texier) sits more than a game. I think maybe there’s more going on than they’re saying. Right now Holloway is my main concern. Not only do you lose his scoring, it upsets team chemistry

TheJackBurton wrote: 04 Apr 2025 09:49 am I get everyone stating that the last few games haven't "pretty" like the others and have been dogfights but a few things to keep in mind:

1) One of those games was against the Avs in Colorado so yeah the odds of us running away with it were very slim

2) Detroit is a young fast team that just had a terrible month and are still in a playoff race

3) Pittsburgh has been playing much better lately and are playing loose since they have pretty much been eliminated

Not all wins in a streak are pretty but doesn't mean that they count any less, or mean they still aren't on the streak.

When they play Colorado on Saturday they could play a flawless game and lose.

I'd rather play ugly and win, then play perfect and lose.
I’d also like to add that it may be good to have a few ugly games like these as it gets the team figuring out how to keep it together and figure out anyway possible to win those tight games. Which is very much needed in the playoffs

The PP is off, I think they're, other than the 3 v 2 last nite, 0 for at least 2 games. That would be my biggest concern w/ the team overall. We, in both the last two games, had the edge in penalties but didn't convert in reg. The PK has also been weak.

We barely won the last two games. I'm sure Monty & the coaches see all these things, will make solid adjustments.

They're in like Flynn on the play-offs anyway, but need to get those special teams back in order. That said, the grit to hang in & win anyway is its own kind of strength.

Had to put the remaining games into a spreadsheet to visualize these last two weeks of the season. Think Blues needs to win 2 of their last 5 to get in.

Steve, that is a really interesting chart. It would be great to see Calgary leap Minny, who has been on top all year.

This is the 5th time you've elected to do this, I haven't started a thing with you once.

Addicted to every troll thread while policing the ideas he has about other people, policing who they are and what they are like, even if his ideas are mentally compromised. Zero internal inquiry, zero sense of any spiritual maturity or maturity period, just in every single troll thread, like the one yesterday that mature people stayed out of because they can actually do it.

No? Take the Pepsi challenge big boy. Go one week, you grownup. Go one week without commenting about other posters, without commenting in troll threads. Just talk about the Blues. Are you capable of behaving that way? Policing and commenting on the other people here is your self-appointed job. I have only ever directly responded to people like you who are so brainwormed that they think I'm bleeder, and so weaselly in character that instead of admitting that's clearly not true, double down and keep saying it.

You cannot go even one week because I have you identified to a T. You're a 60+ year old boyschat cop. You're volunteer internet police. You care more about who gets to say what than what is said. Truth.

Agree, but it's certainly possible - Flames have a pretty soft close out - don't see them beating the Kings, though, esp. in LA - at any rate, we wouldn't see them until later rounds.

Next year, look out for the Flames. They have a ton of cap space.

He's still salty that they went on this run. If we just would have traded everyone decent at the deadline over 30, we could have lost enough to get a shot at drafting Billy Badass from the Brampton (censored). Seattle thinks he's the guy this year.
