Last year they had two pitchers and two bench players who have not been picked up by another team. That team was not put together well and anyone with 1/2 a brain could see it. Because that’s not the way it works. The Cardinals are one of my life’s great passions. Think of it the way you would think of a member of your family. You may be disappointed in them at times for their poor choices, disappointed at times when they underachieve because you know they can do better, but you always love them and want them to excel because you know they can, not turning a blind eye to their faults.
