Has anyone heard if Brooke/Randy/Danny are going to a different station?

Yeah.
They’re hard to listen too. Rivers just goes on rants and rambles a ton and BK and Ferrario have little to no actual sports knowledge

For the first time in 18 years, my morning drive didn't touch 101.scotts-rolen wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 07:05 amMe too. I enjoyed The Morning Drive. The worst was his extended "Good Moorrrrnnniiing"...so dumb. But I'd still rather listen to them than McKernan.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑25 Oct 2024 14:25 pm It's being replaced with McKernan, Vaugh, and Kilcoyne.
I despise that show.

I thought that it was a poor attempt to duplicate Robin Williams in "Good Morning Vietnam."scotts-rolen wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 07:05 amMe too. I enjoyed The Morning Drive. Sure the YouTube videos are but they're also filled w/reporting as well as commentary as Bernie himself has stated many times "believe it or not I have sources".Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 16:48 pmI think he's great, but his new revenue stream is content creation.rockondlouie wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:57 amAlex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:52 amHe's a "content creator".4thDown wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:48 amBerine is not a "sports journalist". I know many aren't fans but Bernie is the best sports journalist in this city and he doesn't waste air time w/a bunch of a z z grabbing like the Balloon Show does.
He does great Cardinals segments, Blues and Football.
Hopefully 101.1 hires him back after McK and Company flop (which is going to happen).
Bernie has more sources throughout the sports world than any journalist in St. Louis and he reports on multiple stories.

He's not reporting. No matter how many times you say it. Your desperate need to make him something he's not is quite bizarre.rockondlouie wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 08:59 amSure the YouTube videos are but they're also filled w/reporting as well as commentary as Bernie himself has stated many times "believe it or not I have sources".Alex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 16:48 pmI think he's great, but his new revenue stream is content creation.rockondlouie wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:57 amAlex Reyes Cy Young wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:52 amHe's a "content creator".4thDown wrote: ↑27 Oct 2024 11:48 amBerine is not a "sports journalist". I rarely listen to them cuz im at work during the day but jesus, my 45 min commute to Creve Coeur listening to them included about 10 mins of actual sports talk and that's only because they had Chris Kerber on.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑25 Oct 2024 14:25 pm It's being replaced with McKernan, Vaugh, and Kilcoyne.

At least the other show was constant sports talk with a few side bars. Half the [shirt] these clowns were talking about were personal things unrelatable to viewers

Bruh, Brooke was the ONLY reason why ANYONE watched them on YouTube!dj101 wrote: ↑26 Oct 2024 09:29 am Brooke was the only reason I YouTube them. Mclaughlin looked like Debi Downer. Rocchio couldn't read without chopping everything up with the exception of "are you kidding me". Karraker: hey look at how smart I am. These guys have a program director who'd sit down with them and point out the s**t that would turn off listeners? Now if they'd only do something with Cary Davis and that wheeze let the air out of a tire laugh. They all need to sit back and listen to the FAN in Chicago to get a clue. Can I take it that I won't have to hear about "oh about a weak back" anymore. Jesus.

The last time I listened to it, it was about 30-45 of sports talk, and 3 hours of inside jokes, that I guess they and their "loyal listeners" laugh at.Natl20 wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 10:24 amI rarely listen to them cuz im at work during the day but jesus, my 45 min commute to Creve Coeur listening to them included about 10 mins of actual sports talk and that's only because they had Chris Kerber on.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑25 Oct 2024 14:25 pm It's being replaced with McKernan, Vaugh, and Kilcoyne.

Tuned in at 7:00 am
Tuned out at 7:15 am
I give them 6 months before they hire Bernie back to save the prime drive time slot.

Same here. I was confused when I started listening this morning. It was just a bunch of babbling and a bunch of inside jokes that I had no idea what they were talking about. Literally no substance at all. I had to change the station. How anyone up top would think that this was better than the morning drive, is beyond me.TheJackBurton wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 08:51 amFor the first time in 18 years, my morning drive didn't touch 101.scotts-rolen wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 07:05 amMe too. I enjoy listening to Dan. Honestly, I had no issues with the morning drive at all so I’m a bit bummed. They could have changed things up without changing the entire show if a change was needed.

Yeah, I understand if the format started to feel flat. Start switching things up, change up the more popular segments, eliminate the less listened to, or move them to later in the day.2airj3 wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 12:14 pmSame here. They seem like nice guys, but TMA is way played out. I used to listen because it was nice to have something a bit different from the usual, and I usually liked what they had to say when they did talk sports, but it's just too much to sit through. I can only do so many gay and "Doug is a pedo" jokes that they do over and over and over. The morning zoo crew thing is generally awful. Howard Stern could pull it off, but most people aren't that funny. It was old a decade ago and any time I turn on sports talk in the morning and the show comes on, it feels like they're doing the same thing they used to. And I suppose that's fine for them. They have a pretty built in audience, I think. Maybe that's enough to keep getting good ratings.

I doubt it. The comments on their 101 ESPN Facebook post after this change were absolutely brutal.Ronnie Dobbs wrote: ↑28 Oct 2024 13:45 pm They seem like nice guys, but TMA is way played out.
