That’s the funny thing about baseball. Over the course of a 162 game season, every player goes through a dozen or more mini slumps that require adjustments. MLB teams spend great amounts of resources figuring out ways to get hitters out. The best hitters adjust and adapt. I’m sure JJ will too.

JJ is and will be far superior to Noot. In all respects except maybe power and that's a huge IF in itself. Not even mentioning how long it will be before Noot is on the IL again.

It was predictable he would hit a wall in his rookie season and he's had very few off days.

He's well aware of what his shortcomings have been and he will correct them.

He's been in the middle of a lot of Cardinal wins this year and will be in the next decade or so.
