Ok I'll start it..........

Power hitter in the leadoff spot (yea I know he's got speed too and TGKS/Ohtani hit there) but we don't have the hitters those two team do behind those guys and don't we want that power bat in the MOTO?

LHP opener. Take advantage. Load the top 3 with the best LHP hitters It makes sense IMO. Only other option that might make sense is a Herrera there, but I like Baez's speed better in the leadoff spot.

Rock, how many times did AP, Edmonds, Rolen, Holliday, Berkman, Beltran leadoff?

When those players played the 9th hitter was a pitcher...

James Wood hits leadoff, Ohtani hits leadoff, Aaron Judge has hit 2nd, Schwarber has hit leadoff. Lots of power hitters hit in the top 2 spots nowadays. And on very successful offenses/teams.

And how many RBIs are given up over the course of the year doing that?

Nope

I want that big bat, in that stadium hitting MOTO where there may actually be men on base....not having Pereira and Pages in front of him.

Oh well, hope it works

Yea I’m scratching my bald head a little bit also but honestly we don’t have a leadoff without JJ.

Again, this is an opener situation. The LHP is probably only pitching one inning. If Baez hits 4th or 5th he may not even see the LHP. You take advantage. It's a one off thing, this is highly likely not going to be Baez's spot going forward, so you can relax about that. JJ gets the game off with a DH and LHP opener.

ZERO

And unlike Ohtani & TGKS who not only have superstar hitters behind them, they also have LARGE OB%'s.

Hey I hope Bez goes 4 for 4 and score 3 runs

I wouldn't waste that big bat behind Pages & EP though.

Nope

Can't do it FGM

Because for the rest of the game he's got two weak hitters in front of him (and I hope Pages and EP get on base five times and I have to eat this comment  )

Ohtani has hit 11 leadoff homers this season WITH NOONE on base……brilliant.
