Noot/Randy A

Post by Basil Shabazz »

Nootbaar is the left-handed version of Randy Arozarena, except instead of 150 games, you get about 90 and a trip to the IL.

Lars Nootbaar and Randy Arozarena share some traits:

* They both have excellent strike-zone awareness and can post strong on-base percentages.
* Both have enough pop for 20+ homer potential over a full season.
* Both play with energy and are capable corner outfielders.

That's good. Nootbaar is a prorated Arozarena.

I feel this comparison was more accurate 3 years ago…

Is that the same as saying he is a fraction of Arozarena?

The OP states 90 games vs 150

So yes, in that metric we can consider Nootbaar to be 3/5th's the player Arozarena is

Extrapolate’22

Do you need help with the math?

Also, look up the definition of potential.

Except it doesn't work that way
