They need to solidify bats at 3b and at least one OF spot. And find a manager who won't screw with what is working.

They could definitely use another rbi bat. Not sure Crooks, Church, Blaze or Noot is the answer to that. But their pitching is god awful and when you're down 7 after 2 innings no offense is going to keep up with that consistently. The opposition pitching can pitch loose and free. It can nibble and try for the perfect pitch without fear of giving up that one run that costs them the game. Conversely, when you're down 7 early, you press and try to make something happen. You play tight and that seldom works out. There's also a certain element in the psyche that lingers on the thought that the game is really out of reach and the letdown factor. They need better hitting no doubt. But baseball is pitching. A good pitcher can hold the other offense down and allow you to scratch out a few runs.
