Mental errors
We saw one today. In the majors this should never happen. Just stupid.

Yeah, mental errors suck but as long as ballplayers are human they're gonna pull boners. It's embarrassing to watch is the thing. It's shoddy, not professional and never going away completely.
To me this 'White Flag' business is nonsense. Are you sure you aren't projecting your own feelings of inadequacy onto the team? The club that produced the great comeback win last night and the team that fought today even though they came up short hasn't quit.
Players look at the standings too. They know the difference between 5 out and 100 to play and 13 out and 50 games left. I'm sure they're disappointed but that's a long way from quitting.
