So to review:

1. Yes, sign the Wetherholts of the world to LT contracts.
2. No, do not sign the second tiers like Noot, DeJong or Piscotty to LT contracts.

Lars didn't know how many outs there were and when Church reminded him as he was sauntering with the ball in the outfield, lars proceeded to overthrow the cutoff man, allowing the run to score from second.

Terrible

A perfect example why analytics aren't the only thing that should be looked at. He has nice analytics because he walks a lot. Looking for walks is what sh!tty players that cant hit do. Give me a guy that can drive in runs.

He's an airhead in the field and on the bases. Not the brightest bulb in addition to not being corner OF material (little power) or CF material (weak glove).

Bump. 0-4 with 3 Ks today. I tried to tell his persistent fans that heel surgery can't heal mediocrity in a player.

Lars The Human Sushi-baar.
Too much marketing
Not enough substance
Always leaves an empty feeling
The day he is traded, the team is inevitably improved.

Give Noot the Boot in early August. He is a hold over scud player from we know who and he blows chunks. Let’s move on from this doofus. Trade him to Tokyo.

Mootbaar has always been extremely poor at the fundamentals of baseball.
There is a reason for that.
He has always preferred devoting his attention to the excesses of self-promotion.
I warned about that several years ago.

Noot was another case of Mo falling hard.
He saw that the fans loved to shout "Noooot" and he liked it. He saw that Noot played for Japan in the WBC and he liked it. He saw Noot hit a ball really hard in a batting cage with his shirt off and he liked it...a lot. He saw and heard that the analytic geeks said Noot is good and "should" have a lot of good "projected" stats and he liked it. He forgot, however, that Noot cannot provide any real value or real stats to the team to help them win and is very, very average (at best).

Is it a coincidence that the team has regressed ever simce the day Noot returned? Possibly. Possibly not.

I am sure Noot would be an okay 4th OFer who fills in occasionally from time to time. But that is not who the Cards have tried to make him out to be. He is not an every day guy and is certainly not a middle of the order hitter, yet Marmol has tried this year after year. Not Noot's fault, but the Cardinals (namely Mo.and Marmol) fell hard.

Hopefully Bloom will finally rid themselves of the Noot once and for all.

The Nooooooot thing has gotten so bad that fans were screaming it after he caught a routine fly against the Reds. Maybe it was a Bronx Noot?
