since HR derby, walker 6 for 29 0 hr
I remember when Edmonds claimed on tims show, that it messed with his swing, and he struggled to end the season.
HR derby and swing? fact, fiction, not enough evidence.
i fully expect Walker to crush one after posting this in 8th.

He had three rough stretches before the all star break also does that mean he slumped because he thought he might end up being in the home run derby or were those just slumps but this slump is somehow directly attributable to the derby? Those slumps people just said was him regressing to his old self and they knew it wouldn’t last but this one is now because of the derby lolAtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:07 pm I remember when Edmonds claimed on tims show, that it messed with his swing, and he struggled to end the season.

He could not have made a better choice - hell, many baseball fans didn't even know who he was before the derby!

I find that hard to believe
He led MLB in RBIs. Not sure what evidence you have of that, especially when the Cards were talk as a surprise team this year

It's been proven to be fiction multiple times using stats and facts.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:07 pm I remember when Edmonds claimed on tims show, that it messed with his swing, and he struggled to end the season.

In the seven games prior to the break Walker hit 346/370/615 with 2 HR.
Pick another seven game sequence and compare. A good guess would be it falls somewhere in between your pick and mine.

I stubbed my toe on June 14th and for the next 56 plate appearances Walker hit 235/.286/.235 /.521 with 0 home runs.AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:07 pm I remember when Edmonds claimed on tims show, that it messed with his swing, and he struggled to end the season.

You should have called Walker. I bet he would have paid to get your toe fixed.

And what have you accomplished in your life to call the HR derby participants or their result of competition "tripe"?scoutyjones2 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:16 pmWorthless tripe exhibitiondhsux wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:14 pmWhile I did not want him to do it....he made the absolute most of it didn't he?AtillaTheBlue1 wrote: ↑23 Jul 2026 18:07 pm I remember when Edmonds claimed on tims show, that it messed with his swing, and he struggled to end the season.
