He's a good interview....that's the second I have seen.

Hope he can have a bounce back season with his stats but with his addition I think his game overall should translate well for the team.

With Johnston, McTavish and McMichael I'm expecting a very different Blues team this season.

being halfway thru and the fact he trains with those guys and Thomas knows him is a huge boost in my opinion. Thomas putting his stamp on the trade is a big deal. As well as I love the guy's humbleness during the interview. He's very self deprecating which to me is a great quality.

Great interview. McMichael is a likable young man that should mesh well with his teammates. The relationship with Thomas is definitely a plus.

Yeah. I'm not sure how they could forget about Pierre Turgeon.

They even mention him later in the interview and I thought they'd be like "oh, yeah," but they never mentioned him so I thought they were probably trolling.

Loved him too and was sooo psyched when he came back. But unfortunately he’s not a great podcaster. The C&S schtick gets old in a hurry. Sometimes I listen to their hockey talk, but more often than not I skip ahead to the interview

Two days ago. NHL Network played two of Washington last games of the season and Washington played McMikey like a second line center.
Where I guess he was playing his heart out. He got both pk time and pp time. While they cut the game up to fit a couple of hours. I saw enough.
You all must of missed it. Im thinking, no one here had watched him play at all.
While he did luck in to a couple of assists. Both by bad defensive passes that landed on his stick, for him to pass off. He did little else. His board play was him standing to the side jabbing his stick in. His two "checks" were him kinda running into defenders after puck was gone. Lost every faceoff, really just went back and forth between the blue lines. Seemed to show up to plays late, skate around, and go to the bench. Didn't skate with the puck, didn't battle for the puck, didn't seem to make a difference. What's funny is in-between the Washington games was a Blues game. Where Kyrou came to play. Hope he is different here, hope he just needed a change. I'm sure he'll get every chance here. But I don't think he would of played much next season if not traded here and I don't think that contract holds up. Hope I'm wrong and he sounded like a nice guy.

These were a few of the quotes that stood out to me. Maybe he's the type of player that can come in and really gel with the team and whatever line he's on.
