Fourth Down Rule

I really hate the fourth down rule. It penalizes a team for doing what should be a good thing (advancing the ball across midfield). At the very least, there should be some kind of down and distance limit. You should not be forced to go for fourth and 26 regardless of where the ball is.

Don't mind the rule. I generally don't think teams should punt past the 50 unless your defense is stellar and it's a low-scoring game. There is a high percentage that if you punt from that area, it won't take long for the opposing team to pass the spot where the 4th down snap occurred.
