Ryan Mitchell
He has a .932 OPS in May and climbing with a 2-2 and a walk today. Hope he keeps it up and dreaming of an outfield of Cho, Peete and Mitchell.

Re: Ryan Mitchell
I was looking at his numbers earlier today, OPS finally over .700, and only 19 years old in Palm Beach. Definitely trending in the right direction, good to see!

Would it be ok if we dream of a Baez-Church-Walker OF first?tyoung12290 wrote: ↑20 May 2026 11:26 am He has a .932 OPS in May and climbing with a 2-2 and a walk today. Hope he keeps it up and dreaming of an outfield of Cho, Peete and Mitchell.
I don't think they've quite aged out yet.

Mitchell was caught stealing twice last night.
Learning process.

Re: Ryan Mitchell
Ryan's mostly a CF, right? I know Walker's made a lot of strides defensively in right. Mitchell has the wheels to go get it...and Baez might not be a CF, but he can handle it in a pinch.JDW wrote: ↑20 May 2026 12:50 pmWould it be ok if we dream of a Baez-Church-Walker OF first?tyoung12290 wrote: ↑20 May 2026 11:26 am He has a .932 OPS in May and climbing with a 2-2 and a walk today. I wasn't a fan when we traded for him, but so far I like Tai Peete better than Mitchell. It's early to say on both of them.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑20 May 2026 13:08 pmRyan's mostly a CF, right? I didn't have an opinion on Peete v. Mitchell, but I will say that I wasn't all that high on Peete. He's made me look a right fool, though.Talkin' Baseball wrote: ↑20 May 2026 13:11 pmI wasn't a fan when we traded for him, but so far I like Tai Peete better than Mitchell. I don’t know much about Peete but after I saw the video of the donovanesque hitting barn he had built with his bonus money I became a fan. He may not make it but it won’t be for lack of dedication and work ethicTalkin' Baseball wrote: ↑20 May 2026 13:11 pmI wasn't a fan when we traded for him, but so far I like Tai Peete better than Mitchell. Isn’t he the guy who caught a fly ball bare handed? Nope. That was Kevin Mitchell.tyoung12290 wrote: ↑20 May 2026 11:26 am He has a .932 OPS in May and climbing with a 2-2 and a walk today. Hope he keeps it up and dreaming of an outfield of Cho, Peete and Mitchell.
