Ex-Cards Report
NA - .272 BA, 7 HRs, .810 OPS, 25 RBIs
Goldie Jo- .290 BA, 5 HRs, 1.004 OPS, 13 RBIs
Helsley - 2.53 ERA, 7 saves
Donovan - .274 BA but on the IL
I think those stats are right. Pretty good performance, as a group. I haven’t checked on any others. Feel free to add. And please don’t tell me that you don’t care about ex-Cardinals. I do. And I hope most of them do well.
Edited to add that I didn’t realize there was already a thread about NA.

Not surprised to see Nolan rebound in Arizona. That dry desert heat carries the ball a lot better than here.
I've only spent a long weekend in Phoenix (Thanksgiving two years ago) but sufferin' Jesus...it was DRY.

How dare you post about all the players, not just the ones doing well. LOL.vegascardsfan5890 wrote: ↑19 May 2026 15:40 pm Willson Contreras BOS- .253 AVG/.841 OPS, 10 HR, 27 RBIs

If anyone on this board thinks the team would be doing this well with the same players that brought us the past two miserable seasons, you’re crazy.

Re: Ex-Cards Report
Gray and WC could’ve help this club immensely. Most likely be in 1st. Even if BDW didn’t keep those 2 Replacing their salaries with productive options was the right thing to do. His salary purge is the reason this team has holes in OF, SP, and RP. Once again the assessors who make big money to assess failed. And whether its was MO or now Bloom….when it comes to the stretch run help will not be brought to STL. Just different excuses with 75 mil less payroll

I kind of like it when you land in Phoenix and they throw the door open and you can see the fires of hell entering the plane.Strummer Jones wrote: ↑19 May 2026 15:35 pm Not surprised to see Nolan rebound in Arizona. That dry desert heat carries the ball a lot better than here.

Evidently Bae-Bae is long forgotten. He currently has a .582 OPS but I did hear that he hit a GS last week.ClassicO wrote: ↑19 May 2026 15:55 pmHow dare you post about all the players, not just the ones doing well. Regardless of his current numbers, I'd take Kittredge back in a heartbeat if he's healthy. He's the kind that I always feel like he can be "fixed", although I'm wrong at least as much as I'm right.
I also saw that, if healthy, Helsley would be the best reliever available at the TDL

Boston is bad this year just imagine how bad they would be without Gray and Wilson.

Arozarena leads his team among position players with a +2.0 bWAR, has a .305/.388/.458/.846 line.
Has scored 33 runs with 13 doubles, 1 triple, 4 HR's and 19 RBI's with 12 SB's in 14 attempts.
He's still kicking.

Man Contreras is consistent as ever. Well we got our Yhoiker Fajardo (who is doing very well). I've read if the Sox are out of it Contreras is one of the players they might deal...
I think Arenado is a lock for HOF. He's almost the Andruw Jones of 3B just because similarly his first 10 years were a prime peak for the position he played. It will definitely add to the case if Arenado can hang on with decent seasons like this for 2-3 years. And... we ate so much money that his is a very tradeable contract for Arizona. If they fall out wouldn't it be interesting to see him end up on another contender like NYY.

Man, if we could've just had all of these exotic name players on the team at once when Mike Shannon was calling games. He would have been into the Old Crow by the 3rd inning.C-Unit wrote: ↑19 May 2026 17:35 pm Man Contreras is consistent as ever. Well we got our Yhoiker Fajardo (who is doing very well).
