Unless something falls to us.
We don’t need anymore first rounders right now, we have plenty on our team and pipe.
First rounders include:
Thomas
Snuggy
Holloway
Neighbors
Dvorsky
Stenberg
Lindstein
Charbonneau
Broberg
Jiricek
Mailloux
Thomas being the oldest, wow!!!
Obviously more first rounders won’t hurt but you have to have a spot for all of these guys. This is a year we make room and trade several picks for a player that fits with this new core.
Many names have been brought up such as hirschier/beniers/Matthew/wright/desnoyers/ect.
I don’t know who it is, hell miracles happen maybe even mcdavid (doubtful)
And no just because I say this does not mean I have given up on Dvorsky. Hardly. He is 4 years from his prime.
Look at the avs. Kadri is their third line center. Center surplus isn’t a problem.
I think a trade is coming, as it makes sense. Who? I don’t know.

That's the problem: we don't have a single player who's as big a pain in the (donkey) as Kadri.

I would be very surprised if we acquired any player through trade that is older than 25 years.

Agreed and probably shouldn’t.hockey jedi wrote: ↑12 May 2026 01:37 am I would be very surprised if we acquired any player through trade that is older than 25 years.
