Scott should not be an everyday player but could be a great pinch runner

Teams now days play lots of players I would not play. Is it contract ( not with Scott) defense ( he plays good defense) no one else available ( we have options ) injury (maybe here)
I don't know why he gets so much time in the lineup

Walker hit .201 in 2024. Always hope for Victor.

Church in center Torres from Memphis should be tried in left. If he succeeds it makes Nootbaar more expendable.

as I watch other games, I notice other teams also have some usually good hitters under the Mendoza Line

I think some teams worry that the player will get better. Make them look bad for giving up

The question I guess would be does Scott have the potential to be a great hitter while walker has always had the potential to be one.

It's difficult to find a guy who hits .190, has trouble fielding ground balls and can't throw the ball 150 ft. Where could we find anyone better?

That's fine. Who are you dropping from the 40 man to make room for Torres?

Torres is already on the 40 man no drop

Gotta do it. Unfortunately, I think the brass is thinking the team is playing good enough to cover for Scott in hopes that he figures things out.
Thats just what it seems to me, but I think they need a hitter, and a better defensive player in center. As we all see, the other teams in the Central dont seem to lose, unless theyre playing another team in the central.

Yea i think thats what they are thinking i think scott gets the run until noot comes back but i would love to see torres get a shot and bat 9th if he could just get on base at a .320 to .330 clip that would be a pretty big improvement getting on base ahead of JJ and Herrera
