JJ
JJ has been a breath of fresh air, great in virtually all aspects of batting and done an amazing job at 2nd base. My only criticism is everything is pulled. Everything to the first baseman or second baseman. He is talented enough to start slapping pitches to left field. We have enough pull only hitters Burley, Gorman ( when he hits the ball ).

As for going Oppo he was not rated as a ‘slap hitter’ going Oppo but a player who showed power to drive the ball to LC field gap.
As for a lot more pulled balls initially, I am not overly concerned as there have been excellent players who have predominately dead pull type hitters. We had one for a several years in Arenado.
Nado has 358 career HR,s in 14 seasons.
Don’t think JJ will be as dead pull as Nado .

NEWS FLASH
The majority of LHHers are likely to be pull hitters as the natural arc of their swing lends itself to the pull side.
The kid is only a month+ into his major league career, pretty sure once he figures things out he'll use more of the field since he does have power going the other way.
