Only 2 AL teams above .500

Post by JohnTudor1985 »

With nearly 25% of the season completed, only two of 15 teams are above .500. (Yankees and Rays). That's gotta be a record.

Mathematically that seems incredible, but interleague games have something to do with it, including the fact that all NL Central teams continue to have winning records.

We are 5-1 against the Central. We also beat the Rays. And Cleveland who’s in first, LAD, and within a week first place Oakland.

According to StatMuse, the National League has a 224-201 record vs the American League. I think that’s a big part of the answer.
