STL City SC - 0; Sounders - 1
Early season scoring struggles continue for STL City SC with a home loss to Seattle. Team needs to find a spark somewhere or else risk getting buried in the standings (Sounds a lot like 2025). There's still time but would like to see some offense.

I felt like they dominated the match, but just a bonehead play by (Wallen?) to gift the Sounders player the ball in the box.todd-parker wrote: ↑08 Mar 2026 10:33 am Early season scoring struggles continue for STL City SC with a home loss to Seattle. What.a.moron.
Also, another year and still don’t have a finisher…

Players make mistakes - Wallem has been one of the more consistent performers over the past couple of seasons. If anything (noting that the schedule hasn't been kind so far this season), the lack of finishing, as mentioned, has been the issue. How Celio remains on the bench is a bit baffling.

I’m not bashing Wallen’s existence on the team, but they had locked down Seattle until he gifted them the ball in the worst of places. Who teaches passing a ball into your own box?mjg wrote: ↑11 Mar 2026 10:55 am Players make mistakes - Wallem has been one of the more consistent performers over the past couple of seasons. That said, both can be true. I’m baffled by our preseason trade of Klaus if this is the result.
