Andrew McCutchen--- would you ?

Post by stanw »

Andrew McCutchen is still a free agent at this point in the offseason, would you open to bring him in as a veteran in the club house // DH on a one year low cost deal ? Always respected him as a player.

I would pick up McCutcheon in a hot minute. Veteran leadership, great experience, it can still play.

I would for leadership if he would do like a 5 mill contract. Dude is still productive in a part-time role and would help others I think.

No not after signing Urias however after Noot can’t hold up and Walker bombs out probably wish we had.

He’s a class act and would bring leadership and experience.
And I’m sure he’d be productive.
Of course it would depend somewhat on the $$ but:
It’s a no because the PT needs to go to younger guys.
And....I don’t know why Cutch would want to go to the Cards??
Would make more sense to come off the bench for a playoff contender.

Great player, class act. Always loved AndyMac, but not for the Cards at this stage of his career. As has been pointed out, this is a rebuild.
