My man Jakub Stancl is going to be a thing for the Blues. Stancl and Fischer are easily my two favorites outside of the first round. Ralph is sneaking up just in terms of how comfortable he looks on that elite college team. I think Pierre is right not to forget about him

I fully agree with your assessment its too early to get hung up on "first line" ; "third line" player but i like what Stancl can bring. I also like the influx of Czechs and Slovaks they, like Finns, seem to play a certain way gritty, skill, size. Look at the potential Blues D in a few years by size, wow. Esp if Mailloux can develop the Blues will not be fun to play against

I just finished watching the 3rd period of the Thunderbirds last game and Stancl had two 2 on 1's besides the 3 points he already had in the game.
I hope Fisher, Ralph and or Burns occupy 2 of the 3 LD slots someday. I'd like to see this D much tougher to play against.
I'm watching the Brantford game right now and in the 2nd Jiricek went for another big hit but took the worst of the hit. Once he adds another 10-15 lbs he's going to be a SOB to play against as well

Stancl - 36GP 8 7 15 10 -3 AHL

This is nothing to sneeze at on a (bleep) AHL team. Kid uses his size and skill well so far i dont think hes a very good skater but that doesnt bother me really that much at all. You can either play or not you dont have to be a burner to be a very good producer in the NHL its more about intangibles.

Jiricek will be 20 in late June the Blues will continue to work with him on getting bigger and stronger which will help his game a lot. Hes willing to put the hard gym work in so im expecting big things from him maybe sooner than later. He may get a taste in the AHL first to see the size and speed of pro players then a call up later next year. Really depends on his camp and what they do with Falkker

Härenstam easily might be the most underrated prospect we have. Very excited about him.
