It’s being able to walk around the camp and see the various players and the drills up close..
Now that’s West Palm….I’m guessing most camps are the same?
First, how long ago were you there ? Secondly could you please cite specifics on the total rip off . Asking as always thought it may be fun to go experience spring training there . The backfields are free.
If you know what do you pay for a decent hotel room in the area and how bad is traffic? Kind of on my bucket list. I would go for the experience and not the quality of the rosters for any given game.ClassicO wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026 07:17 amThe backfields are free.
My family and I have been to 24 Spring Trainings in St. Pete and then Jupiter and we love it.
The intersquad games on those backfields - primarily with the young guys - are the most fun part of the experience.
My favorite (of course) was watching Pujols dominate (and Bonilla get hurt) in his first spring training. We watched him play shortstop in part of one game.
