Bogenpohl voted best D1 collegiate player from Missouri

Post by ramfandan »

Baseball America selected their best D1 player from each state for 2026

Missouri: Caden Bogenpohl, OF, Missouri State
Caden Bogenpohl enters the season with real draft upside, which was evident when a panel of 18 scouting directors selected him as a preseason third-team All-American. After all, he is a 6-foot-6 lefthanded slugger with top-of-the-scale raw power and impressive athleticism for his size. Still, Bogenpohl needs to make more contact and be less passive to maximize his profile, which is also hampered by poor batted-ball angles. Improving those areas will impact his draft stock more than his college reputation, though, as he remains very clearly one of the nation’s top college players.
