Could Joshua Baez end up being a better hitter than Walker?
Baez seems much more balanced as a hitter. https://www.mlb.com/cardinals/video/top ... s-pipeline

a better hitter than Walker?
would't take much.
would't take much.
Re: Could Joshua Baez end up being a better hitter than Walker?
The way some of you are slighting Walker, it seems you'd rather have Baez starting in RF than Walker, right now. Is that correct?

So, right now, do the Cardinals have any current outfielders that are actually ready to be high level MLB hitters?

How about average MLB hitters. Will any Cardinals' outfielders qualify this season?Cardinals4Life wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026 14:40 pmHigh level? No we don't.Shady wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026 14:37 pmSo, right now, do the Cardinals have any current outfielders that are actually ready to be high level MLB hitters?

We don't have a single hitter on the team that is "high level". High level is perennial all star. We don't have a single all star after the donnie tradeShady wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026 14:37 pmSo, right now, do the Cardinals have any current outfielders that are actually ready to be high level MLB hitters?

Yeah, I thought that was a given. Shoot, the Cardinals have had an OF issue for years.Adam2 wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026 15:19 pmWe don't have a single hitter on the team that is "high level". Getting an outfielder that is pretty close to being a productive MLB outfielder is something Bloom probably could have done a better job at with all his off season deals.WeeVikes wrote: ↑10 Feb 2026 15:23 pmYeah, I thought that was a given.
