It might be more enjoyable to follow Memphis and Springfield

With almost all of these new players being in the minors it might be more fun to watch them over the greatly reduced parent club. Hopefully Craviduce will continue to keep us informed.

My son and I have already discussed going to some minor league games instead of our usual trips to St. Louis. Memphis and Peoria aren’t much farther for us. Springfield would be though, but we like to go kayaking on the Current, and Jack’s Fork Rivers so maybe we could squeeze one of those in there!

I think Bally Sports Live shows Memphis and it’s free. I watched most Springfield games on it last year.

Its free with TMobile (or if you know someone with TMobile) and I live in CO, so all but 3 games are out of network area.

How is the parent club greatly reduced?

No. You’d be watching the major league team in St Louis. Can’t be in Memphis and Springfield at the same time.

Well, we traded away our starting first baseman, third baseman, second baseman, our ace pitcher and got no one back for our starting lineup. Plus we still have Pallante as a probable starter. I like the moves but the benefits are a year or two away.

How well did we do with those positions?
Yawn. 3rd sucked. 1st will be replaced with a better hitter than Contreras. JJ will be better at 2nd than BD. Seems like an improvement to me.

The moves might be four or five years away.

Follow them. Root for them. Go to their games.
