Is Romero the last trade piece?

Post by Galatians221jb1 »

I thought he’d be paired with Donovan. More coming?

Corky?

I know you meant Romero. Sure, he could be moved, but we do lack adequate LHP in the BP. Maybe a Trade Deadline move?

Is he making more than pre-arbitration? Yes he will get traded.

Romero, Noot, maybe a catcher or two.

Hopefully for an outfielder who can help this season. We need some power from the right side.

Not even Romero nor Juliette knows where he will be.

The return for JoJo in a solo deal now would be "meh".

I'd hold him until midseason when teams may be more desperate.

Yeah, I've said JoJo, Noot and Crooks should net a solid RH bat.

Maybe. But he might get injured or not perform well and we get nothing for him. That's why Bloom gets the big bucks I suppose.

I think the approach they will take with JoJo will be if a team calls them and makes a offer they really like they'll trade him. but there are free agent arms still out there so it's less likely that happens

Now a key injury in spring might bring a team calling, if not I think they shop him at the deadline when the price for relief pitching is at it highest.

The approach I hope they take with Nootbaar, is let him get healthy, hope he can have a solid month or so, then trade him well before the deadline before he inevitably gets hurt again.

My feelings exactly. I thought for sure he would be in the deal yesterday, especially since TB got involved.

At this point, I think he's got more value to us than whatever he could get in a trade...for now. Once the deadline hits, I expect that to change.

Me too SJ

But now we might see a Noot + JoJo deal mid season.

Agreed. JoJo is a good deadline piece.
