4.58 ERA and 14 home runs (74.2 IP) in A+ for a 22 year old top pitching prospect are some serious red flags, especially in a centerpiece coming back for Donovan. Will be rooting this kid on but not really expecting much. Screams future middle reliever, not an impressive return. Was Pro Chaim Bloom until this deal. I would rather keep Donovan and get his value in his early 30s when hopefully we compete again.

And yes, I'm aware of his numbers at AA in 33.2 IP. Any decent pitching prospects usually excel at A+, especially at 22 years old.

I texted his name to a friend earlier, and autocomplete had a nervous breakdown. It's given up on the written word and decided to take up painting.

Yeah, he doesn't excite me. I think Peete is the centerpiece here.

The only way I make a trade with Seattle is if it included Montez or Sloan. Very disappointing return. I would have kept Donovan till deadline for this package.

I texted it correctly and my friend wanted to do a wellness check.

A friend asked if I would ask someone to please spell out his name phonetically so my friend will know how to pronounce it? I know how to pronounce it, I just want to see if anyone else does.

Do those stats include when he was pitching lefthanded? He is much better from the right side. I don't see him pitching lefthanded in the majors.

Either of the two picks may end up being the best of the bunch.

1 HR allowed in 7 AA starts with 37 Ks in 33 IP… in his FIRST season of professional baseball… and you’re worried about some potentially noisy HR numbers at the level below?

I think you’re looking for something to be grumpy about.

And get a worse return that would be even more disappointing
