Hardest shot composition

Post by rezero »

Do they make everyone use the same length stick when they have the skills competition?

No they use their own stick. Parayko can't swing one of those munchkin canes Krug plays with.

I think it was Danny O'Shea who used a munchkin cane as a Center Iceman for the Note in the early 70s. Wingers can use longer shafts , but the center needs that stickhandling ease. It helps when Draws get low down and dirty as well.

If you give Parayko one of those lil sticks he won't be able to skate with the puck. He'd be tripping over his blade.

Awesome that you mentioned that. Remember last week when he had to avoid that very problem, as he protected a cracked shaft to make a smart play?

Objection! Assumes facts that parayko shoots the puck.

Going the other direction(and back in time a bit).
Zdeno Chara's stick was an inch taller than Marty St. Louis. There's no way Marty could have swung that beast for any kind of power.

Craig Janney had a very short stick. I think that's why his old lady hooked up with Shanahan.

Last Blues center with a 100 point season (106 in 92-93) Shanny was the last player to do it (102 in 93-94), but Janney's was bigger. Maybe Shanny was more attentive in other areas.
