went on On3 TP tracker and looked at the players that left and those that came. Have to say most of those we had high hopes for went to lesser schools with many down levels. so original evals were incorrect but that happens in HS and Portal.
But in looking a whole list and seeing sizes and stats have to say even tho their grades wern't impressive they sure filled needs at every position and staff isn't done yet. Number 59 is way less than Eli's usual ranking but still pleased at many of those gaping holes that were filled with Quality experience and also quite a few who are still reaching their potential but have had CFB and Power 5 experience.
As always we shall see how it actually turns out on the field. It's like HS stars which are nice and general evals but often don't mean as much as we initially thought. Look at Hardy and Roberts. No stars and 3 star but what Big Brand wouldn't be happy as all get out to have that tandem as their leads?

Speaking of holes...anyone remember what Craigs injury was (lower body?) and what assurance does Missouri have that he can get back to himself?

that's why the 5 star kid who is punter AND FG guy was such an important get. especially since it's his plant leg shouldn't have any trouble being ready for next season but this time there is a backup plan.
