They are supposedly a big player for Sherwood. He’d be a great fit for them.

can't say it is good or bad, that it will or won't happen, but I can see a reunion, if he terminates his contract. We do need a vet 7th dman, he knows the system and can be a solid mentor to Mailloux.
Before it all starts, no I'm not pining for him, no I don't think it would be a solid get, I'm just saying I can see it happening if he terminates his contract like vets have been doing lately when they get waived and no one claims them.

Man I hope they don't get him. We have 3 games against the sharks in March. If he is on the team by then he might finish that 3 game series with 20 goals.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑18 Jan 2026 12:22 pm They are supposedly a big player for Sherwood. He’d be a great fit for them.

They could be interesting for kyrou if you could convince hom to go play with CellibriniPierre McGuire wrote: ↑18 Jan 2026 12:22 pm They are supposedly a big player for Sherwood. He’d be a great fit for them.

It would have to be a lot more than Leddy to trade kyrou, but I’m all for itUnfathomable wrote: ↑18 Jan 2026 12:35 pmThey could be interesting for kyrou if you could convince hom to go play with CellibriniPierre McGuire wrote: ↑18 Jan 2026 12:22 pm They are supposedly a big player for Sherwood. this will be the beginning of the end for the Sharks. The way Mike Grier just disrespected Nick Leddy is going to send a message to every other player in the league - the Sharks will not honor your contract and Grier is not to be trusted. The NHLPA will rally around Nick Leddy and boycott all future games that the sharks play.
Who does Grier think he is? You can't disrespect a player like that and expect those chickens to not come home to roost.
No way Celebrini signs long term now. This will set back the Sharks by a decade - assuming they don't just fold the franchise for the stain that Grier has left on this organization.
Don't even get me started on how Mike Grier DESTROYED the franchise by not resigning Brent Burns. Burns gave his heart to the Sharks, and Grier couldn't pony up a little NMC? He's a joke, Burns is angelic, and Grier will rue the day he crossed Nick Leddy!
