Not flashy, just (fairly) real
I enjoyed this film - it wasn't trying to do much more than outline a story arc of middle-age people challenged to shake off their rust and begin a new chapter of life.
It was so non full-of-shysse, I was shocked hollywood could still cough something like this up. Dragged a bit, at times, but stuck to the pace mainly. Worth the sit.
It's not a laugh-riot, its more a drama with a fair sprinkling of fairly honest true-to-life humor, complete with lovable but annoying friends.
Probably need to be middle-age or older to grok this thing, but in that case recommended.
Is This Thing On ?
