Fantastic game. Holy smoke.
If you didn’t watch, do yourself a favor and at least watch the last couple minutes of regulation and overtime.

That was something I thought could only happen to Mizzou except they probably would have found a way to lose. I didn't think that was much of a foul on the 3 pointer at the end of reg but as a defender you can't give the ref a chance to call the foul.

Auburn must not want fans to leave early or turn off their TV's as they go to the wire again vs A&M. A&M blew a lead but was up 1 with a guy at the line with 1.7 left. He made the first but instead of trying to make the 2nd he tried to miss letting the clock expire. Replay said he missed the rim (very hard to tell) so Auburn got to inbound the ball. Long pass & Murphy hit a 30' shot to win. Auburn fans go wild, but refs went to replay. Looked like it was out of his hands, but they waved it off. A&M players go wild. Pearl goes wild!

There have been some crazy games this year. Like the 3/4 court shot last night for KY. It looked for a while that that play was going to change the course of the game. Good comeback for the Tigers!

Yes, Ant really messed up the closing seconds of the first half. Oweh's shot may be the longest I have ever seen. Fortunately, he didn't make the layup at the end! What an incredible play the KY player made to catch up to Stone & send the ball back to the other end only to (thank goodness) have Oweh miss the layup.

Yeah KY had multiple chances to make layups and then took a terrible 3 pointer near the end of the game. The Tigers still need to get better at free throws. Not the KY of the past but I'll bet they'll be better at the end of the season.

I know the SEC is “down” (there still might end up 9 or 10 teams in the tourney). But man it’s been a great 1st week or so. Fun to watch games all over the place.1983cougar wrote: ↑08 Jan 2026 12:53 pm There have been some crazy games this year. Like the 3/4 court shot last night for KY. Look at it this way!
Mizzou now has two major victories under its belt and two major quad wins.
We need to go 8 - 8 the rest of the way and we assure ourselves of going to the dance.
The SEC teams aren't as strong as last year and we just have 2 victories in our back pocket to start the season.
Here's hoping we take down Old Miss. (Lets get some more "Quad Wins")
And hoping no one gets injured especially Stony and Pierce.
