Drink priorities
Drink has made himself a reporters dream full of quips, smiles and promise. His coaching and football team is as bland as a bowl of oats. His offensive line has quit on him, his defensive back field does not have a clue. I think he is so lost in himself he does not see the real world. He needs to run for a political office.

You need to move on from 1947.
Try eating your oats with a little brown sugar on them

Whine 0 then I would be like Drink who is trying to put a little sugar on all his failures. I have no problem with Drink being the CEO but the actual football game decisions need to be put in the hands of someone that knows football and can adapt to his roster and the game situations. No need to try to respond whiny you are in over your head
Re: Drink priorities
There are two types of coaches. The ones like Tom Landry and Saban who run the organization. They lead by example and hold people accountable whether they are players or coaches. They surround themselves with the best minds in the game. Then there is the Don Coryall, Joe Gibb, and Bill Walsh type who are football geniuses who are hands on with the creating football concepts.
Drink seems to think he is the later, when he just doesn’t have that in his DNA. He needs to learn from the first group and just surround yourself with excellence and give them freedom during game day. This has been and still seems to be Drinks biggest coaching gap.

Re: Drink priorities
He will either allow his new OC to run that side of the ball, picking his qb, running his plays and developing his own passing schemes, or he will fail at Mizzou. Drink's been great at recruiting in the portal, and grabbing some highly desired college prospects. He's been terrific in media relations and building alumni support, and yet he's failed at finding a difference-maker at QB. Here's hoping the OC can help him identify and develop what we need.

Here's another example of the vocal minority just making noise.knttiger wrote: ↑29 Dec 2025 08:16 am He will either allow his new OC to run that side of the ball, picking his qb, running his plays and developing his own passing schemes, or he will fail at Mizzou. Drink is already considered a success at Mizzou by his peers.
So, based on your theory, he must already be doing that.

Getting himself divorced from the offense should be the No. 1 priority for Drinkwitz. He is not the visionary he thinks he is.rezero wrote: ↑28 Dec 2025 16:01 pm There are two types of coaches. Let your new OC ACTUALLY focus on the offense.
Pinkel benefited from excellent strength trainers and defensive coordinators.
