I feel like they've been trending the right way the last few weeks. But that was quite a 60 minute effort. Hat's off to the Blues, what a great game.

It was really soothing to see the Blues thump someone, especially last years Cup winner.

Long overdue. Even when Florida tied it 2-2 it still felt like the Blues were in control. The Faulk goal as time expired was huge.

Lots of Blues players were very aggressive. Neighbours in particular was a beast.

There definitely is a very different feel to this team like something special is starting to happen. I read a lot from Detroit fans after Berggren's first goal the other night that he will disappear soon and is a liability defensively. Time will tell but a goal and 2 helpers tonight. Wouldn't it be a lot of fun if we just landed a change of scenery guy and not Jakub Vrana II? Definitely some life with some good players returning to the lineup soon-would love to see this team come together because a couple weeks ago-I would have bet my eyeteeth that there was something wrong in that locker room. I would freakin love to be proven completely wrong.

I can see the liability defensively from the play, which is why i was surprised that i saw someone write a scouting report suggesting two-way play.

In the end, worst case scenario it's a kyrou until kyrou comes back. best case scenario the effort is there for a while, and the defensive issues are kept to a minimum, and we have a solid middle 6 player when a bit more healthy.

Agree just take it for now and see where it goes Blues need to first get a 3 game win streak and go from there.

And yes this is the Blues they have it in them.....When the 2 calls went against them it was like here we go again but man this team stood tall!

Team chemistry is a strange and mysterious fish. As disastrous as this season has appeared at times, they're actually on a near-identical points pace as last year's team. This year on 12.21.25, 36 pts, last year on 12.21.24, 34 pts. Goal differential is worse but considering the goalie issues to start the season and the plague-like rash of injuries, all things considered, I'd like to think this squad's best days are ahead of them.

There's a lot more talent on this team than its detractors like to give it credit for. More often than not, they're their own worst enemy.

We are simultaneously tanking and competing, 4 points from last place and 1 point from a playoff spot.

It sure helps when the goalies aren’t letting a goal in every 4 or 5 shots on net.

That’s just a tiny detail

…..oh wait that made half of their games almost impossible to win and it also created a domino effect of different problems/confidence issues with the team. Hofer has been a STUD for a while now and is righting the ship as he’s been given more starts.

What was impressive last night is they took the lead in the last second of the 2nd period and poured it on. They had 15 or 16 SOG after 2 and ended up with 31. That was nearly a game’s worth of shots for them in one period….in a game they were leading. No prevent defense. No defensive shell. They took the game to the tired Panthers that last period. It was nice to see.
