What a nifty crafty pass to set up Jake on that goal. Kid is going to be a top 9 kind of guy reminds me a bit of Pius with a bit more physicality.

They've been great! They're playing simple games and doing with a great amount of skill. Love it. Blues will have some tough choices when they get healthy.

Don't forget another Detroit castoff the Blues picked up Vrana. He had 9 goals in his first 13 games and Blues fans were drooling and slobbering over him but he wore out his welcome. Berggren had plenty of chances with the Wings. Maybe the Eastern Conference was just to tough for him over the long haul.

It sounds like most of his opportunities were on the 4th line. Hard for a skill guy to crack the NHL like that. Hopefully a new team and some confidence can help him become a valuable asset. Robert Thomas and Buch are also supposed to be two of the Blues best defensive forwards so maybe he could be a natural fit with them.
