Re: That was the worst call I have ever seen
Calling Parayko for a hold when he was actively trying to push off a guy bear hugging him was worse in my opinion. The hand pass was bad because it was a playoff game winner. In a vacuum, this call was the worst I have seen by a mile.
Re: That was the worst call I have ever seen
Another horrible call was in the 1980 playoffs against Chicago and Liut gets knocked out by a shot and laying bleeding on the ice for a few seconds before John marks shoots into the empty net

Will never understand why some refs insist on being part of the game. It's like an ego thing.

The refs knew it was a bad call. That's why they made to the makeup call shortly after Florida's PPG.

BMW, Tesla & luxury SUV owners have their fair share......

Yeah, and the refs' angles are far different from TV, the game goes at 2,112-mph and officials — on calls like that — don't have the luxury of an Undo button.hockey jedi wrote: ↑20 Dec 2025 23:28 pm The refs knew it was a bad call. Re: That was the worst call I have ever seen
Personlly I thought the NON interference no-call was worse than this one that they called incorrectly.

Let's move on (aka: END) the small-D conversation.

I agree. Ive been sayin for years that a Big D is always better than a small D. Thankfully the Blues FINALLY got back to having bigger Defensemen like in 2019.

After you've been around as long as I have. You never see the worst call in hockey officiating. The biggest problem is that they can't figure out a way to correct the bad calls. With all the officials on the ice. Plus a "war room" in Toronto, they still can't come to admit when they make a mistake.
