MU football isn't a 'victim'...

...of CFB. When the HC and his agent, with several weeks to go in the regular season, are shopping and then wanting a 2nd extension in less than a year that sets a tone for the program.

Another thread created by Jack Trolly based upon a false narrative.

There was no agent involved.

There was no shopping .

There was no wanting on Drink's end.

Where do you get your information?

I never heard or saw any stories of him actively seeking another job or interviewing for one.

I said at the time the BOC was simply getting out in front of any attempts by other programs to try and sway him away from MU. The university has continually showed adamant support for the program since Drinkwitz arrived and did so again in the midst of a firestorm of challenges with the new era of no rules and screwed up CFB calendar.

What "tone" is being set.

What I see is a university willing to do whatever is necessary to try and reach playoff football status.

I don't know if the program eventually gets there under this coach but it won't be for lack of trying.

Is there anything in that statement you can actually prove?

I'll wait.

II was hoping that the support for Drink and the stability the program has would help keep some players on the reservation. Boy was I wrong.
