Re: Brady Cook
Yeah feel bad for him from the standpoint it hasn’t gone well. But also thrilled for him that no matter what he started an NFL game at QB and that’s cool.
Maybe just maybe he’ll get more opportunities and he’ll not turn the ball over.

Re: Brady Cook
One more thing, the defense was just terrible. So that said, he was pressing. His accuracy was pretty good actually overall. I really hope he gets to finish the season and earn at least a backup job.

Re: Brady Cook
3 Interceptions ? Not great.... but , he's starting for a team that is 3 and 10 . Hasn't had starter reps in practice. Geeezz, lighten up. I'm guessing the O Line and receivers are not the best. I think he went aprox , 20 for 30..... not too bad. I say congrats on a first NFL start.

And if the suggestion is that he's not that naturally gifted doesn't he deserve a nod for working so hard to get there?
There were times when he was QB1 that I was frustrated but more with what the coaches did. No one could question the kids 'want to.'

But he doesn't want it from someone who's kicking his coaches in the crotch at the same time.

I wasn't logged in when I looked at this again so I accidentally saw your ridiculous response. Fine, I'll take your bait this one time before you go back on the foe list. I need one thing from you. Just one. Do this or stop pretending to be any kind of Mizzou fan or supporter. Since I do not believe that the Mizzou coaching staff was not omniscient nor perfect I stated that certain coaching decisions were frustrating. Please, either state that you think the Mizzou football coaching staff is indeed perfect and is thus above reproach by any of us mere mortals OR name just ONE coaching decision that you found frustrating for being made.winonsports wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 12:36 pmYes he does deserve a nod.Power74 wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 12:28 pmThis.Barksdale's People wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 08:54 am Undrafted rookie struggles in his first start for 3-11 team.

This is a thread about Brady Cook.
And not about the coaches who helped him become an NFL player.

Re: Brady Cook
No real answer, especially since my post wasn't really about the coaches either. Thought so. I really can't comprehend what you get out of what you do here. Anyway....winonsports wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 14:05 pm This is a thread about Brady Cook.

I apologize to everyone else that has him/it on the foe list.
Back there for me too.

Re: Brady Cook
Kinda interesting that he has his same starting tackle and defensive coordinator, who was also fired mid season, and he’s winning over his teammates. Hats off to the guy.Neilthe3rd wrote: ↑15 Dec 2025 10:20 am 3 Interceptions ? Not great.... but , he's starting for a team that is 3 and 10 . Hasn't had starter reps in practice. Geeezz, lighten up. Meanwhile Luther Burden is looking like a burgeoning star.
Re: Brady Cook
Four more starts and he ties the number of starts for Chase in his 13yr NFL career. Daniel had it figured out! Collect the money from the best seats in the house.

Re: Brady Cook
Another rough day at the office, Brady was sacked 8 times. That’s 11 sacks the last 2 games. IMHO he’s actually doing well considering how abysmal the Jets pass blocking is.
We need one of our QB’s to get an opportunity in the NFL where they have an awesome O Line. Drew never has, although he’s at least on a team with a good line.

Re: Brady Cook
According to people on this forum (and the other forum) a bad oline is no excuse, it's all because Brady Cook sucks.Armchair QB wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 21:00 pm Another rough day at the office, Brady was sacked 8 times. I don’t know how good Brady will be in the NFL. All I know is, playing QB for the Jets isn’t even fair.onemizzou wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 22:28 pmAccording to people on this forum (and the other forum) a bad oline is no excuse, it's all because Brady Cook sucks.Armchair QB wrote: ↑21 Dec 2025 21:00 pm Another rough day at the office, Brady was sacked 8 times.
