For 2026, changes for FanDuel. For home games, there is a host, analyst, and reporter 3 people but for road games,
The host will also serve as reporter. Therefore, Jimmy The Cat Hayes will be working home games but on the road Alexa will br both host and reporter roles.
Scott Warman will also split hosting spot with Slexa again this year.

Yes that would be nice for "fan experience". Sports broadcasting and Sports talk is filled with chucklehead [redacted] and blowhards.

From what I have gleaned from the internet , FanDuel is doing this as a monetary cutback with other teams/sports too. Making the host also the reporter position for away games thus reducing their costs when sending people for 'away ' games.... 2 instead of 3 . That's a savings of one more airplane round trip flight, hotels, meals , and payment of the talent person.
So it seems more a FanDuel decision rather than Jimmy the Cat.
They aren't doing real well after taking over from Balley Sports bankruptcy thing.

As you stated, hopefully Jimmy won't mind the cutback too much as it does reduce his travel big time.

Alexa is good on the baseball broadcast, regardless of the roles given to her.
