Will Bloom be given report card grade post winter meeting ?

Giving draft grades seems to be a media fun game so will we get team grades after the Winter Meeting too ?

Will we get a Bloom report card ?

Maybe we will get a letter grade from MLB Network?
Baseball America? STL Post ? CT forum? Mlb.com ?

I would wait until spring training to give him a grade moves are made at the winter meetings but also a lot of ground work is laid for trades at the winter meetings that aren’t made until later in the off season. So just because he doesn’t make certain moves at the meetings doesn’t mean he hasn’t set the ball rolling for multiple trades later

lol yea gold fan was whining and complaining about bloom comparing him to Mo because he hadn’t made any trades as soon as soon as the season ended then bloom trades sonny the next day and suddenly he’s back on the bloom train again

Yeah remember getting a chuckle from that. Complaining and following day boom. Now watch if no trade by Bloom on Monday more complaints of Bloom doing nothing and Tues. Comes a big blockbuster deal by Cardinals. Lol

Seems premature to grade him then. He could get the framework to later trades started during the meetings.

As others said, his offseason can’t be graded until Feb.

Grades when you're dealing major league players for major league players can be fun.

BUT

No way you can give an honest grade when it comes to dealing major league talent for prospects.

He'll be graded over the next two, three four years when we can see what the prospects make it to MLB and are contributors.

These are meaningless until you actually see the draftees perform for a year or so.
