OT: Marchand

Post by MiamiLaw »

Anyone following what he’s doing down here? The Panthers haven’t gotten the results but 63 is playing like he’s 25.

When MT and Barkoff return, this team will once again be tough to beat

He's a competitor. Through and through. And age and $ doesn't seem to affect him.

Wish we had him.

Not sure I have ever seen another situation where a player that was so universally hated then becomes a fan favorite across the league. I always despised him but now I totally root for the guy.

I've always hated Marchand but I can't deny his greatness. He's a true Alpha dog and is always a beast on the ice. I hate the guy!

No doubt HOF'er.

What's the word down there Miami?

Is Barkov coming back for sure?
Does Bob have another run left in him?

Will Maurice find some downtime for Reinhart and Bennett after the Olympics? He might not have a choice if they're still trying to get in.

I know Reino has been an offensive threat on the PK, but since he has logged a ton of minutes the last 4 years, I would find another forward to take his spot on the PK to lighten the load a bit.

You all know how I feel about Marchand. One of my favorite players of all time, likely top 3, right behind Doug Gilmour and Wendel Clark.

Wendel was a beast. Don't make them like him anymore.

Sorry highhat, missed this. Word on Barky is that he’s a lot further along than the timeline. Not sure if that means he’ll be back for sure, but I’d actually be surprised if he isn’t - possibly even before the playoffs.

The team as a whole has obviously played a TON of hockey, but they’re going to give someone all they can handle. And a top seed may be forced to face them…tough draw.

Reinhart in general may be the most underrated guy in the league. He’s rarely mentioned with the best of them. He is a gem of a player
