despite having the second longest tenured HC in SEC and a lot of recent Victory successes Eli comes in with another meh recruiting effort. I know it isn't as big a deal as it used to be but it still would be nice if he could do better than teams who had a ton of failures and lots of chaos.
lots of 3 star projects who are more likely to hang around and be developed by staff into useful rotation pieces but in two years half the class will be elsewhere as the "potential" was never reached or TP players who came in as starters were blocking them.
MU will never be a sexy choice for the star players unless they have strong ties to program but even then last years top player wasn't swayed by LOTS of ties and went where the money was which turned out to be Miami.

Fortunately for MU TP is where Eli has outshined most of CFB HC's and we shall see if he continues bringing in key players to fill in holes in his team.
He could never outsell the Big Brands to gullible teens but has been successful with offering opportunities to players looking for the right fit.
