Re: A Rare Appearance by the Lady Tigers
Thought they had blown it when they allowed a Bear to get to the basket for an easy layup & the lead with a few seconds left but then Dowell did the same thing with the help of a screen.
They're on SECN again vs IL on the 10th. If you're near STL the WBB Tigers are playing the BillyGoats @ Chaifetz on 12/14.

Re: A Rare Appearance by the Lady Tigers
I have Direct TV. They don't differentiate between men's & women's games. I can only record 7 games at a time (6, if I leave a channel for my wife to watch
). It's zucks to go to a recording of a top match-up & it's the ladies.
The Lady Tigers are 9-2 & appear to be fundamentally better the Robin's teams, but still a ways from being in the top half of the SEC. They got down by 15 in the first half vs SIUE! SIUE was unconscious from 3, but regressed to the mean in the 2nd half & Mizzou made a comeback. It looked like Mizzou had the game; when up by 6 with a couple minutes left they had a steal & a breakaway. Unfortunately, they blew a layup, didn't get back & fouled on a SIUE layup for an and-one. Fortunately, unlike our men's team the ladies are awesome from the FT line (16-16, 100%!) & were able to seal the victory when SIUE had to foul. I don't think we'll win a lot of games in the conference, but it's nice to see better fundamentals.
