What we gonna see for Thursdays lines?
Suter slated to be back Thursday.
Why is Holloway not with Thomas and Kyrou?

What do we do?
New faces: Kaskimaki

Actually the questions should be why is Holloway not with Dvorsky. Thomas and Kyrou need someone who has a physical game and net front willingness and that's got Neighbours written large.

Dvorsky is being asked to produce with two 3rd liners on his wings. He's a rookie and needs a little more talent to work with so Holloway would be the obvious choice there. I'd move Schenn down to go with Suter-Joseph and at least you have a line you can lean on in the defensive zone.

Kaskimaki Sunny Bjustadt

I would prefer they try to catch lightning in a bottle again with Holloway & Kyrou. All our eggs in one basket and tell them to get it done.

Holloway - Thomas - Kyrou
Schenn - Dvorsky - Neighbours
Joseph/Kaski - Suter - Buch
Joseph/Kaski - Sunny - Bjug

Need at least one lines that can score and Schenn needs to get going.

"Thomas and Kyrou need someone who has a physical game and net front willingness and that's got Neighbours written large."

This is untrue Bull [shirt], One just need to watch highlights to see that Net front is not how goals are scored. But open accurate shots, and to the net hockey.

Thomas/Kyrou need a linemate that can keep up with their skill. One that goes to the right places and has the ability to shoot the puck, where they want it to go.

"Dvorsky is being asked to produce with two 3rd liners on his wings."

I doubt it. He is being asked to play the third defender.

"He's a rookie and needs a little more talent to work with so Holloway would be the obvious choice there."

DVO is a third liner that can kinda accurately shoot a puck.

"I'd move Schenn down to go with Suter-Joseph and at least you have a line you can lean on in the defensive zone"

Every line is built for defense.
And Schenn(I wanna be a center) needed to accept his fourth line role, at least a year ago. But he has got both our top line wingers for line mates.

Every issue is a coaching/management issue.

Coming from the guy who thought we'd see the second round. I'll take it.

Not sure who you have me confused with, but I predicted playoff bubble. Am only moderately surprised by the results.

From what I see, Dvorsky should still be in the ahl. He isn't a NHLer yet.

Not sure about that. Dvorsky is a better center option than Schenn at this point yea Dvorsky is a little overmatched some nights but where the Blues franchise is and the plan to get younger players going it makes sense to play Dvorsky now

Who deserves to start over Dalibor? The options are limited..

It's time for Thomas and Kyrou (and Buchnevich) to step up and take control. They are the vets and heart of the talent.

I'm a huge Thomas fan, I really enjoy watching him play. But I don't know what's going on with him. He had that injury, but it seems that should be cleared by now. I really hope he finds his game and becomes the player he usually is.

As for Dvorsky. He's fine. He's getting his minutes and playing in critical times. His points will come. Looks at Thomas' first couple of years. It took him some time to get the points that he usually puts up. He being a little exposed because the rest of the team is struggling. But this experience will do wonders for him in the years to come.

It takes time to find your NHL game.
See Jaden Schwarz(13 in 45), Vladamir Tarasenko(19 in 38; then 43 pts), Barbashev (26 pts twice then 60 in 5th yr), Kyrou, Thomas, Neighbours, Holloway

(BACKES (1st yr 49 games 23 pts; 31 pts in 72 second year and 54 the following) OSHIE(39 pts in 57games; 48 in 76) PERRON(27 in 62; 50 in 81) WERE ALL DECENT OUT OF THE GATE. College players older--Ready to go. Perron was a freak of nature.)

Dvvorsky is gonna be a good one. Next year he will breakout and then following year he will be a consistent mid range scorer. All around player.

Others examples of your well-stated post:

Brett Hull (Flames, I know), scored his first goal at age 22 in his 17th career game.

Adam Oates (DeadWings) scored in first game at age 23, then 18 in a row without one.

Petr Sejna, Hobey Baker winner, scored first goal at age 24 in first game (Patrick Roy), then six the rest of his career.
