Is anyone watching this show? It is bizarre on so many levels, and vintage Tim Robinson. There are so many nods to ITYSL, and his overall comedy, scattered throughout the first 7 episodes. The finale is this Sunday night, and it has been renewed for season 2.

Yes, I have been. It’s great. I’ve been enjoying it.
I think I said this in another thread, I’m a huge fan of Tim Robinson, so I will continue to consume whatever he puts out there. But I wonder if general audiences will start to get tired of his style, which seems to be the same in pretty much everything he does.
I love the random dialogue and interactions he has with the side characters. And you’re right so many nods to ITYSL. The little hat, definitely reminded me of Stanzos.
At the end of the last episode I almost wondered if that was how they were going to end the season or the show completely. That would’ve been funny, because he figured out the whole mystery and then he’s just laugh crying hugging his wife … debating on whether he should tell her. But as you said, there is one more episode and I guess a second season, so more to come.

I loved Detroiters, so my guess his next project might be something like that, maybe? That was a toned down version of his characters now.
The randomness of the dialogue is the best part of the show, as you said, with side characters and random people. Mike playing the "hot girl" photo game (which was popular in bars like 15 years ago) was so funny. He just couldn't get over it, and even stayed to play because the "ladies were so hot".
It is all so random, and so spot on Tim Robinson.
