Ha. I didn't catch that. Always review the output!
Re: Cleveland Trades for Donovan- AI Press Release
So we traded proven young player for prospects. I guess that was expected. I was intrigued about OF player but balts left, coming off injury, stats look good not great. I’m sort of underwhelmed.

Yes, and my experience is that AI writes at about high school level when it is really trying. It is still not a polished writer, although in this case it wasn't really tested in that regard. It is generally good at grammar, but cannot reproduce the subtleties of a good writer.

I'd trade Donovan for Messick alone...get the other two and I'd call that a steal. Cards should fax the Indians with this and say "thank you we accept this proposal" and send it to the league.

Mo
More A.I.:
The Cardinals have not officially traded Brendan Donovan, but multiple reports indicate the team is shopping him in trade talks during the current MLB offseason. Donovan is a popular trade chip because of his versatility, and teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, Royals, and Guardians are believed to be potential landing spots, with St. Louis looking to maximize his value for prospect

Yeah, FG has that as the Cardinals getting two MLB Top 50 prospects who are ML-ready. Do that in a heartbeat.smilinjoefission wrote: ↑20 Nov 2025 10:14 am I'd trade Donovan for Messick alone...get the other two and I'd call that a steal. Re: Cleveland Trades for Donovan- AI Press Release
If the Cardinals trade Brendan Donovan this year, they can expect a return of at least one Top 100 prospect along with other highly-regarded, near MLB-ready players. Due to his two remaining years of team control, All-Star production in 2025, and elite defensive versatility, Donovan is considered the Cardinals' most valuable trade chip.
Gemini A.I. also likes the Guardians as our trade partner:
Trading Partner
Cleveland Guardians Khal Stephen (P), Parker Messick (P), and Juan Brito (IF) The Guardians have a deep farm system, particularly with pitching, which the Cardinals reportedly need.

I think I'd trade Donovan for Messick alone, as well

I kind of disagree with this. I'm in Marketing, Biz Devpt, whatever and i write a ton for a living. I find AI to be a very competent writer. But, you also have to be a very good writer and thinker, as the prompt you write is critically important to the output you getbccardsfan wrote: ↑20 Nov 2025 10:08 amYes, and my experience is that AI writes at about high school level when it is really trying. Moe would trade for an OFer whose ETA to the majors was for last season.
