Let’s bet- Walker verse JJ

Post by sikeston bulldog2 »

Good morning.

Bored. Black coffee. Contrary. Let’s rock.

I’ll bet a coke that Walker has a better season than JJ. The areas to measure are the old big three- Homeruns- RBI-Average.

Here’s my take. The board has anointed JJ as a GG second baseman and a perineal all star. The second coming of someone? I see struggles.

Walker is on his last season in STL if he doesn’t produce. He’s not one of Blooms love child. More like a voodoo chile.

Under the new regime, Walker has to be better. Can’t be worse. JJ will have growing pains. So the bar graph shows a good chance Walker out produces.

Any takers.

Walker shouldn't even play in the field.
But you're just talking hitting here.
I think JJ if given then chance will be incredible.
He's a better hitter for sure.
And his defense is solid.
I said a while back he could be the face of baseball.
So, I'm not changing.
And Walker shouldn't even be on the team.

Nice entry. Now just imagine if what you say happens, and Walker does out produce, then we are ?

I think this kid has rare talent.
If Walker produces, I'd be the first one cheering.
However, he's had 3 years, and it's been a dud.
Not confident he can change at this point.

I'm not even sure JW is on the opening day roster.
.
I'd love to see both be successful, but JJ played college, successfully. He will out perform JW

No bet needed as there's no way to collect and it's just silly

I would be shocked if JJ doesn't out perform JW in all categories. No bets need Doggie...... Assuming 150 games played with no major injuries of course..... Geez all he has to do is hit .250 with 15 dingers to do it...

Reverse engineering. I’m looking it as, JJ has a good year. If JW can have as good a year, then that’s breakout, and we solve hopefully a critical need.

The bet isn’t whether he out performs JJ, but do they both succeed simontaneously.

Figure of speaking. That’s why the wager was so low- coke. Just want to promote dialogue.

As for JW, the intent is, if he does produce, and JJ does as well, we may be on track to respectability.

I know you don’t. Who’s to blame you. That’s my point. It has to get better. Can’t get worse. Now how much better, who knows.

It’s like a prospect to me.

Walker should start out in Memphis. I'd bet that J.J. makes the opening day roster in St. Louis. Walker could make the team and improve from last year but J.J. has the better overall season Dogg. My best guess..

Yes sir it has. Surely he can’t be this bad. That’s my bet. I’m hoping the new environment created by Bloom and company is equivalent to a trade, like a fresh start.

Walker needs a fresh start. Surely he can’t be this bad. I hear ya.
