Judge had a better BA, OBP, SLG, OPS, and OPS+ than Raleigh.

Raleigh had 7 more HR's and 11 more RBI's.

Yankees had a better regular season record.

This should not be shocking.

He set all sorts of records hitting from the catching spot. He was a beast I think it’s stupid.

7 HRs is another month of baseball and he did it hitting in Seattle with a brutal park factor. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.

He did all that and Judge was still a better player this season. Really just shows how incredible Judge is.

Judge's OPS is almost 200 points higher. He had a wRC+ over 200, only done four times in the last ten years, three times by Judge.

He was the best player in baseball this year.

Show that HR’s is one stat and Raleigh led Judge in two categories.. Judge had several more as listed above

That overwhelming lead in OPS separated the two by quite a lot.

I would have voted Raleigh but it's hardly a robbery. Raleigh had to put up his 60 HRs playing in a pitchers park while catching 121 games. Judge won 17-13 so Raleigh got his due in the voting.

Only 7 players have hit 60+ in a season. Cal did it this year playing a ton of games at catcher and in the toughest park factor park.

3 of those major roid users. Bonds Sosa and Mac

This was a legendary season won worthy of MVP. We’ll never see a catcher dominate offensively like this again.

Offensive numbers aren’t apples to apples. The position has to be weighed into the voting and war is merely directional.

Bingo! Raleigh produced outstanding numbers while playing a more demanding position. He also did it in a bigger ballpark. Judge is great, but I think being in NYC won this award.

Yep. I get it.

You hit 53 HR w a .331 Batting Average. And you lead the league in walks.

That's nuts.
