Re: Skinner/LM
Skinner should have made the team out of camp. Actually looking forward to seeing him play.
Re: Skinner/LM
Good to see them bring up Skinner. Mailloux needs some playing time. That said, Mailloux hasn't been on the ice for many of these losses. They keep putting Tucker out there with the same results. I'm not sure I see the blind love for Tucker. At least in theory Mailloux has an upside. Tucker is going to be a 6/7 and they seem to want more than he has to give.

Tucker will fight. And the fans like to see a guy get beat up while doing his jobdr0zombie wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 08:07 am Good to see them bring up Skinner. Mailloux needs some playing time. I thought skinner looked good in camp also. He likes to step up and be aggressive disrupting plays.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 08:03 am Skinner should have made the team out of camp. Actually looking forward to seeing him play.
Hoping LM can get something to click. He has a load of skill. Everyone learns differently. Maybe he is just one of those types that makes learning very hard on themselves until they get it. I am like that when it comes the learning a new job or process. Im quiet, stand-offish, mind moving 1000mph. But once the process is developed, the rest is art. Wishin LM the best
Re: Skinner/LM
True. And credit to you for being transparent on how well he fights. Why I'm not seeing what the Blues see. Tucker isn't feared at all. One of the nice things about Suter last year. Suter played like a throwback to a tougher NHL.Cahokanut wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 08:10 amTucker will fight. Re: Skinner/LM
Skinner has looked good for Springfield and Lindstein has been even better, so those two are the possible help

Ryan Smith:
"Blues fans, you'll like the way Skinner plays the game. Great skater, plays with supreme confidence and fire, and will tattoo unsuspecting forwards when opportunity presents itself. Like Tyler Tucker, he's not afraid to throw down if the situation calls for it."

I read that as further proof that Tucker is valued for, and only for, his willingness to fight...Harry S Deals wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 09:02 am Ryan Smith:

Re: Skinner/LM
I think that is part of the problem with the current team. Players who should of made the team didn't in the name of asset management.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 08:03 am Skinner should have made the team out of camp. Actually looking forward to seeing him play.
Re: Skinner/LM
Sure questions evaluation by the stuff that he and Dvorsky didn’t make the club. I am too looking forward to it.Pierre McGuire wrote: ↑09 Nov 2025 08:03 am Skinner should have made the team out of camp. Actually looking forward to seeing him play.

When I watch Tucker, I don't get it. I like him as a 7th guy. But not everyday. And kessel bothers me. If the puck is on their stick i instantly think that this is getting turned over and there's zero chance for a breakout.Army's Mom wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 09:52 amI read that as further proof that Tucker is valued for, and only for, his willingness to fight...Harry S Deals wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 09:02 am Ryan Smith:

Re: Skinner/LM
Either Blues staff overestimated Tucker bigly.....or they dont want to lock in anyone else because they know Lindstein is coming soon? Suter Mailloux would have made a lot more sense
Re: Skinner/LM
And the tough love from Suter would have really brought Mailoux along NHL adjustments wise.Harry S Deals wrote: ↑10 Nov 2025 11:40 amEither Blues staff overestimated Tucker bigly.....or they dont want to lock in anyone else because they know Lindstein is coming soon?
